Laura Escobar
With a lifelong career in corporate America and a passion for creativity, Laura's journey began in high school when she discovered crochet and developed a deep appreciation for artisanal crafts. In 2019, she launched a small business to showcase local artisan creations, honey products, and fair trade goods, inspired by her fascination with honey’s natural benefits. Later that year, she founded Mockingbird Wings, a monthly makers market, which evolved into The Hive Market in 2021—a vibrant space where local artisans can display their work, host workshops, and celebrate creativity. At The Hive, she is dedicated to sharing the stories behind each piece, fostering community, and supporting the artistic spirit.
